hiv transmission with blood through skin

Hi there,

I am writing from Russia, and I hope you don't consider my question nonsense. Yesterday when I was walking I saw a man lying on the road, probably he slipped and fell. I helped him to stand up, afterwards I realized that his face was covered with blood and I saw my hand was also partly bloody. My question is there is no open cut or something on my hand, maybe little dry because of cold weather. Is there any risk in terms of HIV transmission? Am I 100% safe?

Again, I am sorry to take your time but last years I got too much paranoid in terms of HIV. I need some peace of mind...

have a nice day.

Nothing to worry at all because you would have to have had a huge open bleeding wound that would require hospital attention, micro abrassions and dryness are nothing to be concerned about at all.You can have a baby with your wife no problems.

Still no risk because the Hiv virus is damaged as soon as it is exposed to air. You're safe.

You are 100% safe because Hiv becomes inactive as soon as it makes contact with air and therefore is unable to infect you. Also,Hiv is an extremely fragile virus outside the body. You can have total peace of mind that no transmission took place.
