Hi ,
I would first like to thank you all for reading this and if you could just be
Informative and non judgemental it would help a lot! Okay so my question is can your hiv negative test turn positive after the 6 week mark?? I took a test February 22 after a high risk encounter with a guy I had been dating whom I later found out was bisexual undercover. The last time we had intercourse was in December a few days before Christmas.. I got nervous around February right on the 6 week mark and took an Oraquick test the test read negative after the allotted time period. I had intercourse another 2 days after that with my now boyfriend and that same day I've started coughing and I've been coughing for almost two months now.. I've checked my body for rashes and my weight for changes but here's the catch.... I have graves disease which is similar in some ways because it is an auto immune diseases as well... My coughing is persistent whenever I start to think about it could it just be nerves? I get blood work done almost every 3 weeks for my Graves' disease and my endocrinologist says my white blood cells are fine I know hiv can affect them as well but I've also read if you already have an auto immune diseases symptoms could take longer to show. Also when I cough I can feel a little mucus trying to come up but it seems to be stick in my throat... It would really be helpful if someone could give me some warning signs or if I should get this cough rechecked because I visited the ER tonight and they said it could be my asthma and allergies I just don't wanna mistake and hiv cough for that just to help myself and the people around me .... Advice??
