Risk of hiv by endoscopy device?

Yesterday, i went through nose endoscopy test!

I did not check the doctor had clean the device or not??
I read on the internet that there is a chance of transmit hiv if the endoscopy divice not cleaned after the doctor use it for previous patients!

Expert, can you inform me is it a risk of hiv? Should i take pep? I very nervous now...!

I would think that anything like endoscopy equipment would be sterile.  I'm not sure why you'd think otherwise.  But in any event, air inactivates the virus.  If there was some blood or something like that (which there was not, really, that is irrational), it would have been inactivated. You don't get HIV this way.  The only ways adults get HIV is to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share Iv drug needles.  People do not need PEP after medical procedures just in case. I'm wondering if you have an anxiety disorder at play here?  Do you tend to worry like this on a regular basis?
