Risk of hiv infection

Hello Expert,

How are you?

Is there any risk of hiv if my hand is bleeding after receiving sharp objective from other people. The wound is deep and many blood come out.

I did an research on the internet and found that the chance of getting hiv by this accident is 0.3%, equal the risk of perform anal sex.
It mean very high risk.

Im very nevous because of that information. Can you inform me whether that information is true or not? And is there any people getting HIV by that way?

Thank you so much for your time access to my case.

You would not get HIV from what you describe. You can not touch blood or even touch blood with a wound and get HIV. A sharp object is exposed to air. Air inactivates the virus. The only ways adults get HIV is to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share IV drug needles.
