80 day rapid test

Hello everybody, I am a female who had unprotected vaginal sex a couple times with a very questionable person. This all happened in the country I come from in Kenya, easy Africa ( high HIV rates) I had tested with the man I had an encounter with but who knows maybe he was in his window period and just received a not 100% negative test. Anyways, I came back to Canada, tested with the rapid HIV antibody 1/2 blood test at 30, 47, and 80 days. I don't know whether I should trust these test as on the 90th day post exposure I came down the worst flu. Chills, fevers, runny rose, sore throat that made me eventually lose my voice and a wet cough. Mind you after this cold or flu occurred I got vaginal cyts that would appear and disappear the next day and appear in a different location. I just don't know if I was a late converting, I know there are stories of such people who go through this.. Here in canada the window period is 84 days/12 weeks, I have a very annoying itch around my anus and never expirecned this, also seen this symptom is related to HIV.

Hello
If you are paranoid, like i am, take a duo test just to leave this behind you.

Anyway most doctors and guidelines say that a 3rd generation test is conclusive after 3 months.

Stay well

Hi joana, thanks for your input. The 3 month window period also applies in Canada but we consider it to be either 12/13 weeks. I know in America it's considered 13. Just confused as to I was only 4 days shy from 84 days. Apparently the test result can't change past this point but my symptoms are worrisome. I also suffer from anxiety so an issue like this can make me over analyze.
