thanks Teak,
But do they limit to some kinds of test kits only?
Rapid test also OK? non FDA approved also OK? low generation also OK?
You don't need any further testing. Your test is conclusive.

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
Hello Teak and all,
Few days ago I go tested again using Serodia hiv 1/2. Then I go back to doctor. He said that some hiv tests are not very accurate and he told me that I should test for hiv again next 3 months.
He said like that after he scan inside my body and there are gas in stomach and lymphnode inside my body, plus my other sympthoms I described to him.
What he said really scare me alot.
Is it possible of false negatives?
Do I really need furthur testing like he said? if yes, what is the best test to take?
The doctor is wrong. You had a test in march for a risk 4 years ago and it was negative. You are not a late seroconverter and this doctor is making you worry for nothing.
RainLover71,
Thanks for helping, but I can't stop worrying right now after doctor told me like this, plus my sympthoms same as hiv.
I feel like hell right now.
How can you tell, if I fall in those category people that late or NOT detection like (Cancer, Transplant, IV Drug....)?
Also rare subtype.......
Any possible things.... like that???
Pls pls
Again don't worry,a rapid test is just as good as a regular blood test.
One more thing, I asked the blood test man he said Rapid Test that i took was not very accurate.
Stop worrying, you will be negative again. The doctor is wrong. You have already received conclusive test results.
