Red spot - worried

I have a red/pink spot on the foreskin of my penis, about the size of the nail on my pink finger. It has now been there for a little over a month and shows no sign of getting better, or worse. It doesn't itch or irritate me at all... it's just there.

The skin on the spot is quite dry too and has been a little flakey a few times in the month I have had it. I am sexually active and have been having sex recently and even while I had the spot (when I didn't know it was there), my girlfriend found it while she was giving me oral and we got a little scared. I admit I should've and would've gone to the doctor earlier if this spot actually irritated me, but it doesn't ... no itching, it's not sore, nadda. I wouldn't even know it's there if I didn't spot it.

I thought it might go away on it's own, that maybe it was a rash from chaffing or something, but nothing has changed.

I'm starting to worry a little now as it has been over a month....  anyone else have or had anything like this? Advice?

Thanks

Hey buddy,

This red spot can be so many things, so many!!!

it can be alergies, it can be infections, fungus, and many more, so, that is why is hard to tell. You only had the red spot and nothing else? no other symptom attached to it?
My guess is, since it persists, go to a check up doctor. Take this worry out of your mind.

Be cool =)

You were told if  you had a concern about your SPOT see your doctor. Your SPOT is not an HIV concern and if you had noticed this forum deals with HIV not your worries about a SPOT on your penis.

Ah, yeah fair enough. I guess that because it's not HIV or life threatening that I don't deserve to have any responses from anyone.

Thanks

I wasn't specifically looking for a diagnosis or cure or anything of the sort, as the last line says in my post "anyone else have or had anything like this? Advice?"

Thanks
