Results Delay/HIV oral risk

A month ago I had exposure to a man orally, there was precum but no ejac however i had an ulcer in my mouth. A few days ago, me and a friend got tested - she got her results back as negative yesterday morning, yet I am still waiting for mine and I keep wondering if this is a bad sign, keep worrying about it being a positive result, just very confused as to why she has hers and I don't have mine when our tests were merely an hour apart - considering surely if I was positive they'd let me know as soon as possible

You should rest easy based on this exposure as oral sex is not a risk for HIV even with sores on your gums or mouth bleeding.  Saliva and air inactivate HIV virus.  The only risks for adults are unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse or sharing IV drug needles.  So, you unless you have done either of those things, you do not have to worry about HIV.  So, relax and expect a call that your test is negative.
