HIV scare

I'm confused by the possibility of getting hiv from the wounds.I have read some posts from the expert forum but I still have one thought which confuses me.I'm worry about that what if CDC conceals the cases in which there are some people have gotten hiv because of their pre-existing wounds for the purpose of avoiding arising the panic of the people.Sorry for my poor English.I'm from foreign country.

I have one more question that I wonder what the CDC's job is.Dose it publish the standards of diseases and the treatment to them? And do the standards is authoritative and do doctors deal with the diseases according to the standards?

The CDC is an advisory agency.  They publish information about infectious diseases, how they are transmitted, how to protect yourself, and how to treat.  Doctors use the CDC as one of many sources of information when making recommendations.  The CDC is not always as current as medical literature, but they do eventually catch up.

This is your anxiety/fear talking. The CDC doesn't hide things in fear of causing panic, and we have 30+ years of science to back up what the CDC says.

In order to get HIV from a wound, you would have to have a significant wound (gaping, large, open) and someone else who is infected would also have to have a significant wound, and somehow, their blood would have to get into your wound.

If HIV were this easy to get, we'd all have it, and we don't.
