Some ARS Symptoms- Need Help
Hi Members,
I am waiting for my 13 weeks to be over to get tested.
However, I have quick question for you. 3 weeks after exposure I developed tounge ulers (cuts on the tounge) which went away after sometime. This was acompanied with burinig like sensation in throat and chest. I have read that Oral ulers are leading indicator of ARS. Will tounge ulers qualify in that group or do they need to be in lips/cheeks.
Also is absence of fever a good indictor of absence of ARS? I have seen conflicting information about that? Can someone confirm?
Finally, I am also getting some neck and leg pain (they came seperately). The leg pain went away in sometime on its own and was limited to my right leg only. Is Malaise associated with ARS generalized or limited to one part of the body?

I think I had answer your questions, you symptoms are not ARS specific. It sound more too me like stress, lack of sleep and not enough liquid.
From you one time incident, favour is on your side. Like you already know, test at 3 months for a conclusive result. And if stress get too much of you, I suggest you test at 6 weeks for a prelimenary result. Assuming you test negative the likelihood that will change by 13 weeks is remote.

i had tongue ulcers also and i dont have hiv stress can cause them and certain medicines
actually uniquelymen, my incident with this thai CSW was in singapore. any idea of prevelance of HIV among thai workers in singapore....
