I have been concerned for the past 3 months about a possible exposure.
Last march 2017 I had unprotected sex with a friend of unknown status. I had two HIV tests, one 3 months after exposure and the second 5 1/2 month after exposure, both being negative. But between those period I had PROTECTED sexual intercourse with the same person numerous times.
In December of 2017, I received oral intercourse for the first time from the same girl, and from the end of December till 8th of January had 4 PROTECTED sexual intercourse with her. However after the last time, I noticed a small cut near the shaft of my penis (no blood, just a small wound/cut). In the beginning I thought It was herpes, but the wound dried up and disappeared less than 48 hours later. I am worried whether the cut was due to the oral intercourse or probably hurt myself from removing the condom. I only noticed the cut the next day while masturbating because I felt a little pain while doing it.
Should this worry me? From all the exposures I had, am I at risk of contracting HIV?
I had a little cold 2 days ago with an awful dry cough, and I am usually never sick. but since it marks almost 3 months since my exposure, is it possible that my immune system is already trying to fight off the virus?
Please give me answers as I cannot concentrate on my work and keep thinking about this.
Thank you.
