Hello. A few months ago I had a very high risk. I had multiple unprotected sex with a HIV positive woman confirmed with a western blot. Anyways. I was sure I would be positive but miraculously after 95 days I took and antibody test and the results came back negative. Can I trust this? I'm shocked at my negative result. Should I test at 6 months? Is there any chance I could be infected?
Thankyou. But does the HIV 1 and 2 test cover all strains? And should I test at 6 just to be sure ?
Also do all strands and subtypes fall under either HIV 1 and HIV 2 ??? BecuAse my test was or HIV 1 and HIV 2
Thankyou very much. Also did you hear that there has been a patient cured of HIV and there is now a vaccine for HIV? The national aids conference was yesterday and I heard that on the news. So I do not need to test at all more????
