production of serum

is the blood sample required centrifuging to collect the serum for test, if we keep the blood sample some time in the bottle than it can produce required serum for the test.

yes dear, i m asking question, i want to know about how serum is produce from the blood sample, if we leave blood sample for few hours then it can produce the serum for testing.

actually i tested hiv negative after six month of sexual exposure but i saw that doctor did not centrifuge the blood sample, and tested but he keep  blood for few hours, so i have doubt is this method is ok.

Deopends on the kind of test you had.  Some require seperation, others don't.

How do you know the blood was not centrifuged, by the way?

i was sited there for 2 hours then i saw that they take that blood in one like pipe tube and put in rapid hiv test kit, i just want to know if they will not centrifuge blood sample then check then this test is ok or not please help
