'There is no risk to you associated with the exposure you describe. We get many questions about kissing and oral exposure and whether or not the presence of a cold sore, bites to the lip, gum disease or other wounds in or around the mouth changes the answer to the question. The answer is no. The data which define the absence of any risk of getting HIV through kissing, deep or otherwise has be generated through studies of thousand and thousands of persons, some of whom had cold cores, cuts, etc. There is no risk" DR HOOK / MEDHELP / HIV SPECIALIST
You never had a risk and never needed testing.
Their MD ,s their not hiv experts and they gave you the wrong information on two counts.Hiv is not transmitted via kissing, blood or no blood. Also,no test is 100% conclusive until 3 Months post-exposure.The fact that he told you that you were 100% negative at 42 days is proof how little he knows. What happens if you turn positive after that are you going to sue him?
