Think I'm going to be ok?

Hello,
I had unprotected heterosexual sex once (I'm female).  About a week after I had a sore throat with swollen neck glands.  I was tested for mono and strep, and the doc decided it was a sinus infection..treated with antibiotics.  Just irony or early HIV symptoms?

I was tested for Syphillis, Gonorrhea, Hepatitis and Chlamydia and they all came back negative.

I did the rapid oral test for HIV at four weeks and it was negative.
My doctor took blood and did a HIV test at six weeks and it was negative...also did a oral test the same week that came back negative but they said something about not having enough protien.

How accurate is the blood test my doc did at six weeks?  I know I should get retested at three months...

it's a good indicator...but it's not conclusive.

Irony and anxiety but do test 3 months post exposure just to know your status :)  Dont expect your six week test results to change
