HIV RNA test reliable?

I would like to take a HIV RNA test after 2 weeks of potential exposure.

1. Is there a risk to this test such as false positives?
2. Why don’t doctors recommend using this test more often?
3. If after two weeks is RNA test conclusive?

Thank you!

You were advised to see a therapist. This forum can't offer you anxiety support.

If you really have substantial proof that you were sexually abused or you had sex with someone at your will, an insertive vaginal or anal, you could get a IV Gen HIV test at 28 days.

Quit reading about HIV and RNA test on the internet it is not good for your anxiety.

After reading your other thread, this is an unnecessary question.  You were told previously that you are asking anxious questions and you said you knew and would see a therapist.  This is more of that.  General information though is that HIV RNA tests are 90 percent accurate at 10 t 12 days and 100 percent accurate at 12 weeks. Please speak to a therapist though so you can live a more peaceful life.
