most lancets these days are single use throw aways.
EVEN IF it had been used before (which i'm sure it wasnt)...you would not have been exposed to hiv. hiv is not transmitted from environmental surfaces or inanimate objects. once exposed to air, hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.

so you're telling me that these kind of lancets (trigger ones) are only single use?
I mean, can they be used again after they are triggered?.
The clinician had several of these in a container on his desk, so I guees they're disposable, but I was kind of nervous.
Can I move on and stop worrying about an HIV exposition?? or should I get retested for these worries I have..
