Acident

Hi,
My girlfriend is HIV positive.
Yesterday, during the sex, the condom has failed and I stand about a minute inside my girlfriend without no protection. We never did sex without a condom. As soon as I found out that the condom broke, I stop the intercourse.
What are my risks to get an HIV infection? Is there anything I can do?

Sorry for my poor english.
BR,
Roberto.

Hi roberto_zo,

What you can do is to visit an std doctor immediately. Tell the doctor what happened, and ask if PEP treatment is available.

The doctor will then evaluate your situation and guide you through the procedures and steps.

Wish you all the best.

May God bless

Did she tell you she is HIV positive?
How did you know the condom failed?

Doctor HHH quoted it is 1/2000 for having 1 time intercouse with an infected patient.
Go get a PEP treatment (if exposure is less than 72 hours).
And good luck to you.
