HIV 1 and 2 ELISA test negative after 4 months and 9 days

Team

Had an encounter in last year Oct 12 th and used condom. Not sure whether the condom was broken or not . observed tiredness and some times loose motions and severe muscle pains at some times. Tested for HIV 1 and 2 ELISA and both are negative at 2 & 4 months and 9 days and both are negative. Not sure what tests these are i.e antigen or a normal test. but clearly saw the report and those are HIV 1 and 2 tests. very feared and having sleep less nights. can you please advise on the status of my risk...Thanks

There is no more help for you here. You have been told you had zero risk of HIV plus you have conclusive negative test results because you were never exposed to HIV in the first place. HIV has been ruled out in your case and there is nothing more to say. If you're sick go see the doctor.

Maybe test for other stds. I'm no expert but if you test negative at 8 months I'm fairly certain you don't have hiv.

Hi James

This is CCRCHENNAI again here.

For the last 15 days I have sore throat and white tongue... Doing mouth Oil pulling everyday and of no use. Even applied salt and of no use...

Observed Oral thrush on the tongue...

I think this is one of the first symptom you observe fro ARS related one...

Hi James
Again apologies to bother you....

Over the last 1 month I do have lot of muscle, joint and leg pains.... even severe headache  for one week..

Observed that the foreskin  of the penis is too red and observed lot of white there....have tested for sugar and it is normal ...checked with a renowned  urologist  and explained the issue..he told me that it is a fungal infection and if it repeats we need to do circumisation... applied nizorol lotion and of no use...
along with lotion doctor suggested some antibiotics  and I don't want to take the same...applied just the lotion and still the color has not changed.... no pain in that part but observed irritation  at some times...

Observed some red spots on the chest and some spots which has some pus, not sure what all these types all...

The reason why am more worried is that my wife is pregnant  and she tested for hiv  and vdrl  and both are non reactive and this is at May1st  2015.

Again I tested for hiv 1 and 2 ...and both are negative at 8 months...

Are these  tests are reliable??? If so why I have these symptoms...really clueless  and not able to concentrate  on anything...

Kindly advise...

I am from India and is HIV 1 and 2 are antibody tests or normal tests, coz the rest results came in the span of 4 hours and it is a blood sample...thanks

You used protection and it did not fail (condom failures are too obvious to ignore) therefore your risk never existed and that is proved by your tests also. Your test is final and conclusive, you do not have HIV.

Throw all your worries away from your mind permanently and move on with your life

Even if the condom had broken, you have tested conclusively negative.  You do not have HIV
