Vaccination trial

Hey everyone,

I am new to the forum. My question will be rather odd. I have had an unprotected intercourse with someone who is a participant in an HIV vaccination trial at Walter Reed. What exactly is that study as I am having a hard time finding info on it. Do they use surface antigens? Am I at any risk? Any info will be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ivan.

Have no idea. They don't give vaccinations to people that are HIV positive.

It was actually two trials. hiv and hep c vaccination. But no clue if attenuated live particles were used. Also a concern for a carrier type that just did not seroconvert.

Just don't know what the vaccine consisted of.

It came up in a conversation in a couple of days after encounter. Participated in a study in 2008 and it was an hiv-1 vaccination trial through Walter Reed. I have tried finding any info on the study and nothing is there online. I think it was some kind of a closed study.
