Very worried

So I have genital herpes. A few months ago I went to a massage parlor and had protect sex with a worker. At the time I didn't know I had a small open sore on the side of my penis.  I don't frequent these places but I had a moment of weakness. Would it be possible for me to contact hiv through this experience.

No, you were not at risk for HIV.  You wore a condom.  Having herpes (while having an outbreak) is only a risk factor if you had unprotected intercourse.   Intercourse with a condom is no risk for HIV, and having herpes does not affect that.

Thanks for the info.  It's confusing there are a bunch of articles that state condoms are only 90 to 95% effective against hiv. I've además changes but afraid my past may comeback.  You have any links that will ease my worries.
Only the head of the penis needs protection because hiv has to go down the urethra to infect, so you're worrying about the wrong thing. Not sure what you meant by "además changes" but it's going to be irrelevant. If the condom wasn't effective then every sex worker would have hiv and they wouldn't bother paying for condoms.
