terrified and depressed
as to my first posting :
i had sex with a girl in singapore , she was one of those call girls costing like $150 per session type .during sexual intercourse i felt the condom tear , i withdrew and to my horror the condom was torn . I ran to the toilet to wash up and the girl was worried too because she said this is the first time something like this happened . asked her if she had any std , she said she did tests and all were negative .
my symtoms i had enlarged lymph nodes on the neck ( confirmed this my doctor ) he put me on antibiotics and noclearing up . , abit of pain at 3 different areas , i have 2 pimple like growths red color and painful . im so afraid that its the signs for HIV . No fever , no night sweats .
8 weeks later i went for a blood test for HIV 1 and 2 using elisa gold standard , came back all negative .
im just worried if this is enough ? or should i go back again to test at 12 weeks to be sure ? im terrified ,the stress , the anxiety ... i dont know if anyone can comprehend what im going thru .... i cant sleep , i cant eat , i cant do anything ,even when i watch the tv , i feel im covered by a dark shadow . when i read the papers , i see statistics of i took medical leave for 1 month due to depression and im really terrified , im young i dont have a gf and i really feel like a dumb idiot for having sex with a pay girl.
can someone please advice me ? do i need to do 12 weeks( 3mths ) again to be conclusive ?
cos the doc said some people have high immunity and maybe need to do in 24weeks ( 6mths )
Im very terrified and i hope someone can help me and advise . i wish i could turn back the clock again to the point

Your 8 week test is more than 98% accurate. so your test at 12 week would be negative, try to calm down,

i have been not having good appetite and can eat only when im really hungry and i havent got any mood to do anything recently ... i dont know how to live my life , i really scared of the 12 weeks test , i;m so scared , i also feel warm at night , when i touch my fore head its like hotter then usual ... i dont know why im so scared ....
%, odds and statics don't play a roll in someones result when they may have possibly been exposed. Collect your test result at 3 months post exposure and they will be conclusive.
i really appreciate yr advise however how good is an indicator of the 8th weeks negative results are ? how many % ?? im so sorry for asking so many questions .... its just that i dont know if my mind is playing tricks on me , because i always had skin problems like acne and eczema , but recently cleared up , are these signs or symtoms with HIV ? thank u again
i dont know i just cant seem to shake off the "shadow " i dont know why its like that , further more i usually had acne and scalp acne for about 10 years and now its all clearing up nicely , i dont know is it due to HIV ? im very terrified still for going the test at 12 weeks ...

No, antibiotics will not delay your antibody productions. Get your 3 month test and it will be conclusive.
thank u for yr response but im just getting really depressed all over this situation , becos im always have negative thinking , im just so worried , also can i took antibiotics for 5 days before my test , would it have delayed the results for the 8th week ? please advise becos i dont dare go and search anymore info on the net , the more i search the more panic i become ... pls i need all the advise i can get
im sorry for posting again , but im been getting very vexed over this situation , dont dare tell anyone cos im ashamed and cant concentrate on work ... and is 12 weeks really enough time to have a conclusive result that i dont have HIV ? im really sorry its just i cant turn elsewhere for anyone i talk to .... sorry again
