HIV PURE FEAR!
Ok I posted the other day, I have a rash, well a few small pink spots in the middle of my chest. They appear to be at the stem of my hairs. Now I have been abit HIV paranoid after an unprotected bout of vaginal sex. I developed mumps afterwards (non related I know) I went for a p24 hiv1/2 test at 21 days which was neg. So I dont htink I should worrying really. I had sex with my wife and shes come out with abit of flu. We have just returned from Lanzarote though were it was 30 degrees + too sunny England were its almost 0... Again I think thats the more likely cause as she has 0 other symptoms.
My doctor said the rash was a common one he saw and seemed unworried I explained my HIV fear to him and he asked me what he I wanted him to,- COUNSELLING. So Ive got that sorted now. Ive been written off work for two weeks too with depression/anxiety.
I went to the hopstial afterwards and for a 6 week blood test. The nurse I saw was loveley. She said she kind of see where I was coming from with the rash but not to worry as it prob was unrelated and due to hefty exfoliation. Its localized to the middle of my chest really and not itchy. What do you guys think? No other symptoms bar anxiety related ones. Rash no where else.
My father-in-law is a highly respected doc and he said I pose no risk to my wife or little one over the phone. He said some abnormalitys would have been detetected in my 21 day test.
I get my results next week. Just wondering how the rash presents. No I know its not a symptom and some people dont present. But I want to know. In hiv + people that present what does the ras look like? Size, location, colour,itchy, generalised (chest back neck etc) or just in a single location? Ive scoured the net whihch I dont think is a good thing. Ive had everything barnotella , macupapular.. tons. But I'm swaying towards what my doc said. Folliciltus caused through excessive friction. That is much more probably really isn't it?
In light of all this what would you say it sounds like HIV+ or hypochondriac. I have had unprotected sex with my wife. I think that proves deep down I know that Im not. I flipping hope anyway. I read an article were the doc had said 16 days p24 antiboy test is highly relaible.
Just want your guys experienced opinions PLEASE. Joggen and nurse and the rest of you. Stars incredible people you need knighting!

No chance, oral sex is not a risk of contracting HIV. It is a risk for other STIs though and I recommend testing for those.
Well, I tested the p24 hiv1/2 at 21 days.. You'd expect something there if I had it realistcally... And Ive just another blood test, that will be six weeks. If I aint got anit-bods by 6 weeks Im home dry realistically aren't I?
ARS makes you bloody right ill aswel does it not? I mean if I was sero converting I owuldnt be eating proper and playing football for 90mins fine would I?

the chill pill is an EXCELLENT idea.
just test at 3 months for a conclusive result so that you can move on with your life.

So its not indicative then!? Phew! Just felt my little lads gum and he's got a tooth coming through- he had a runny nose and wasn't sleeping well - so that explains that one. My wifes had acold- but the weathers terrible and it presented as blocked sinus- runny nose again im led to believe not symptomatic of ARS.
It would appear to be clearing up now. I need to take a chill pill. End of the day if I had HIV im sure I'd have had enough P24 at 21 days to be detected. I didn't. Relax. Move on.. Right?

a FEW PINK SPOTS on your chest is NOT indicative of ars.
stop the symptom searching. you have unprotected sex...you test ! ! !
