Accuracy of Testing

I (male) recently had unprotected vaginal sex with someone who is much older than me and is very promiscuous in an urban area. I discussed STD risk with them and they claimed they were clean. I had a full STD test at 4 weeks, including a duo HIV antibody/antigen test, and another test at just under 6 weeks. Both came back negative, but I am having trouble moving on with the information on the internet. Any advice would help.

Hey,
You were at high risk, but if you were infected with HIV your body would had developed anti bodies by 28 days. I consider your 6 week test to be conclusive. Some people take longer to produce anti bodies because of their weak immune system because of some disease.
however this is not the case with you. YOU ARE NOT INFECTED.
If you still are in anxiety you can get tested at 12 weeks but im 100% confident that your report will not change.

Stay Safe, You are not infected and use a condom next time.
