a brief insert

I have been seeing a man I met through a website. He told me that he was HIV -. But, he has never got tested. His thoughts are that he always practice safe sex (using condoms for anal). We always have oral without protection, but condom for anal. But last time, when I was near finish, I took the condom out, and inserted into him for a second, then pulled out. That was the only unprotected exposure I have had. Now, I am concerned. If he can let me in without protection, he could let other do the same. Let's assume that he is HIV +, what is my chance to contract it from this single instance? I have been reading article all over the internet. Some says high, and some say low. Does anyone have the same kind of experience and got infected by HIV?

you have been advised correctly. a risk is a risk. no matter how low or high the probability is, it's still a risk. And you need to take a test. get a test at 6-8 weeks post exposure to know you status. follow-up in 12 weeks for conclusive result.

Any unprotected insertive anal is considered high risk,no matter how brief the encounter. There are stats out there but i don,t know how reliable or accurate they are.Regardless of statistics only a test 3months post-exposure is going to give you the answer you seek.

Thanks for the reply. I am just wondering if there is any statistics of HIV transmission to the insertive partner in such a situation.

Never believe someone you met on a website about there hiv status, its just not safe to do that. You had a brief moment of unprotected anal sex and therefore require testing for hiv and other STD,s.If this happened just recently, take an hiv test for early detection, however a test 3 months post-exposure will provide you with a conclusive result. All the best.
