HIV in hair - clarification

Hi everyone, I asked a question recently which was very kindly answered which was can HIV be transmitted through eating a cut hair. I believe the answer that this isn't possible but does anybody know why?

Am I correct in thinking that HIV can ONLY be transmitted in body fluids and not through hair? I don't mean to question the advice I was given but I'm just trying to fully understand to help my anxiety.

I had a risk and had 7 tests over three months, various 4th generation lab postal tests (blood taken from finger in tube & sent to TDL lab) and a NHS Gum clinic 4th generation also sent to a lab at 9 weeks. I think all the stress and anxiety I went through was so deep routed that at the 12 week part the anxiety did not just disappear as I thought it would.

A few weeks after this I believe a positive friends hair from a haircut fell into my drink and it just sent my anxiety spiralling off again and I feel back in the same position that I was in before and feel I can only know for sure if I text.

Please don't think I'm ignorant, im just confused, made worse by the anxiety I've gone through : (

Thanks Vance, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I only hope that no matter how absurd my question must seem that it helps somebody else at some point : )

I am Vance, I've acknowledged I have anxiety in my post so your comment isn't helpful to my question, I'm receiving treatment but just wondered if anybody had any thoughts because I'm not as knowledgable around HIV as some people are.
