General Question about Open Sores and Cuts

What would constitute what kind of cut or sore that one would have to have to worry about HIV Transmission?

Does it need to be bleeding? How big does it need to be? If a scab fell off, is it an open wound that can be infected?

I'm not concerned about myself really........more just curious!!

You wouldn't have a would large enough to create a risk. HIV is not transmitted outside its host.
