determine hiv 1 and 2 test at 42 days after exposure

i had unprotected sex with a lady,4 weeks later i had painful nodes at my groin.5 days later i had pains at my neck and armpit from my lymph nodes,i was fatigued and a minor sore throat, and having some chills and headache, felt nauseated for one day,and i felt my salivary swollen.i am really stressed and scared,i know that i threw caution to the wind, reall feeling bad with myself. I called the lady to explain how i was feeling and she said she is fine.42 days after i slept with her she did a test today, which was the determine hiv 1/2 antibody screening test not the one that also test for antigens. i am doing the same type of  test tomorrow which will be the 43rd day after exposure.i already know that 12weeks is conclusive.
1.please i want to to have a clear idea if the test she did was reliable  ? 2. i read that painful lymph nodes are not related to hiv,is this true?

An antibody test is considered a good indicator and reassuring at 6 weeks, but it is not conclusive. Never try to gauge the infection by symptoms, it is meaningless. You had an exposure of unprotected sex, so you must rule it out through a conclusive antibody test to be done 3 months after the exposure
