does hiv cause joint pain?

Ive had joint pain for some time now but my last exposure was  three months ago. any chance of ars symptoms lasting more than three months? And does joint pain even qualify as a symptom of hiv?

Yeah have a test it will ease your anxiety
im confident it will be negative
Hiv is not a disease which spreads like cholera common cold chicken pox etc its a rare disease almost 1 infected person for 2000 non infected
and joint pain alone is not at all a symptom of Hiv the most usual symptoms are rashes and dry cough and swollen lymph nodes at beginning and night sweat(not mild but your full body becomes wet)and loss of weight for unexplained reason (not a couple of pounds but you will lose 5-10  kg within a month

Move on, there  is nothing rare about HIV.

Informative thank you. so joint pains three months after doin the nasty are unlikley to be related to hiv. seeing how ars isnt chronic. is that the jist of it? And thanks again for the info. im due fir a test regardless this week but info is always appreciated friend.

Joint pain doesn't tell you that you have Hiv but at chronic conditions(aids)and for some people after two to three weeks of exposure they may experience flu like symptoms with swollen glands rashes dry cough joint pain etc and later after years you may experience the sure symptoms of Hiv
ie many opportunistic diseases severe night sweats loss of appetite and weight loss
