dont know what to do anymore....
So...i had unprotected oral sex with someone from craigslist 23 days ago and I've been having the worst days of my life...i look up the HIV/ARS symptoms and have had most of them...this really really scares me...Ive had swollen lymph nodes and have been very fatigued...as of this moment my muscle (speciallly my stomach) and joints are beginning to ache.....im a total mess and i still have two more months to go before i can get tested....well...i was wondering...is there anyone out there who has gotten HIV from oral sex?
i thought there were confirmed cases of HIV through oral sex?...i know that is highly unlikely but im freaking out so badly...i mean im ok at times...but right now...my neck nodes are really swollen out of nothing and that really is scaring me.

As you were told, HIV is not transmitted through oral sex, therefore your risk does not exist. There is no confirmed case reported where HIV was transmitted through oral sex alone, in the history of HIV/AIDS, spread over 3 decades.
Clinically speaking, you do not need a test for the exposure, you described, however only for the sake of your own peace of mind, you may get yourself tested after 8 weeks from now to get a conclusive Nrgative (because you were never exposed to HIV) report to lay your self created worries to rest permanently.

Getting tested for peace of mind is always the best thing to do. Because for a lot of people a Neg. test result will end anxiaty on the spot.
yeah i feel like you guys are right....but its extremely hard...and the guilt is painful...i think i just need to get tested to get some peace of mind....thank you all for your responses
You are going threw a very common Anxiaty about HIV. You are convinceing yourself you have HIV. When you dont have HIV. Read into what the experts say about oral sex. You are okay. Learn from this and be carefull next time.
