what generation is Hiv 1/2 Rapid Multi antibody test, and it accuracy @ 12 weeks thanx....
The 6 month window period is only relevant for chemotherapy patients, chronic iv drug users and transplant patients on medication because there immune systems are severely compromised already.
will it vary on the testing instruments used by countries like US and UK? Here in Philippines were i get tested they use HIV 1/2 MULTI RAPID TEST, thats why the testing center require 6 months is a conclusive result. can you please clarify?
6months is wrong and outdated.3months is accurate, correct and conclusive. All the best.
my exposure was a single episode of unprotected vaginal sex to a cws, for 5 or more minutes (actually the condom slipped), well after 8 weeks of worries, and anxiety, i have my own sickness, but it did not came at the same time..... and this sickness is misleading....
i talked to the testing center and they insist that after 6 months the hiv test is conclusive... i also insist that there is a new guide lines of conclusive test...
HIV 1/2 MULTI RAPID TEST RESULTS:
1. test @ 3 weeks and 4 days after exposure - non reactive
2. test @ 8 weeks after exposure - non reactive
I WILL UPDATE YOU GUYS WITH MY FINAL CONCLUSIVE TEST @ 3 MONTHS...
I KNOW 3 MONTH IS CONCLUSIVE... I WILL ALSO TRY TO TEST AT 6 MONTH.....
THANX EVERYONE................
Dont ever go by symptoms. They meen nothing. A test at 3 months is all that counts. Get tested at 3 months. And be safe.
Typical HIV early symptoms come up 2-4 weeks post-exposure but they can be misleading, so get tested at 3 months post-exposure for a conclusive result on your HIV status.
unprotected vaginal sex, due to condom damage, and 2 days after encounter, i have flu... its been 20 days after the encounter, no symptoms....
when will early symptoms of hiv occur, as you have known, will this early symptoms assure im inffected of hiv?
