absolutely NOT... you were there and watched the result didn't you? I am quite sure if there had been a line at the T, the HIV specialist would have seen it within 20 minutes, and I was told that usually when there is a positive result, the line will show up within a few minutes of the test starting to run.. hence the T line being at the bottom of the test strip before the fluid meets the C line..so, if there was a T, one would think that it would show up first..make sense?? . Look man, you are worrying over nothing. Why would the specialist just overlook a line? Man, they are professionals...what do they have to gain by not giving you the true results? Again, I ask you... did you not see the results? I know all of this is stressful, sitting there watching the test develop and all...I will tell you a little secret as to what the specialist told me during casual conversation and it should make you feel better. he told me that "everybody who watches these tests develop panic when they see the fluid migrate up the test strip." "they think they see lines" "lines that are not there" Anyway, I found out that what works best when testing is that the specialist that gives the test should take you into the room, do the consult, take your specimen, let the test device begin to run, then escort the patient back out to the waiting area and then call you back when the test is finished, show you the results, then write your result card out, tell you to have safe sex, then send you on your way.
Man, I know how you are feeling.. your nerves are shot... you are probably obsessing to a certain degree,,, STOP IT.. tell yourself you are negative, you have done all you can do, you are movin on, and quit OVERANALYZING everything...who cares if she picked her nose and ate her booger while she was looking at the test? It was a negative test, you saw it, she saw it. it is negative... you are done.. move on. look.. these locations that do the test are licnesed by the state to conduct the tests.. they will give you an accurate result.. be happy with it...
