help! serious anxiety about possible exposure

I'm a straight female in my 20's. About 6 months ago, I had sex (without a condom) four times with a man I was dating at the time. We broke up shortly thereafter and a few weeks later (about four months ago) I found out that he had given me herpes. He's the only person I've slept with since I was last tested for HIV about 2 years ago. I've been paranoid about HIV ever since I was diagnosed with herpes. He told me he tested clean for everything, but he apparently lied. I haven't felt sick at all since sleeping with him, but I've been having tingling arms and legs for the past couple weeks, which has never happened to me before, and sometimes my joints ache. I've also had an increase in headaches, although that doesn't seem that unusually because I've been getting migraines for years. I made an appointment to have an HIV test, but my appointment isn't for another 6 weeks. I'm having serious anxiety over this. It is all I can think about. I can't even sleep at night because I wake up after a couple hours and obsess about having HIV. Do you think all of this worrying is justified, or am I overreacting? What do you think the chances are that I was exposed to HIV?

Thanks in advance!

It's justified if you had unprotected anal or vaginal sex.
