im scared

ok, i was just told i have genital herpes 2 days ago, for about 6 months or so i have been easily brusing, not hitting anything just brusing and i have lost weight. about 2 or 2 and a half months ago i was 162 i am now 137, the hematologist i am going to about my brusing and stuff told me to go get tested for HIV just to rule it out and know i dont have it. but he said i have the symptoms for it. Do you think i have HIV???? im very scared!!! help!!!!

igot a test today and it was negative. i have to get another in 3 mnths. im sooo relieved

Rapid test can take from 3-20 minutes. ELISA tests can take from hours to two weeks depending on the lab.

also i have an appointment at the gynocologist monday and my mom is going with me and i am going to get tested for HIV how long does it take usually to get test results when u go to places like that

yea maybe not but we live right next to his dad and he told me he never has anyone here whne im not here and his ex is the only girl hes ever been with and when they broke up he got tested. what is a rapid test?

I would say do a rapid test the results are 10 to 20 mins that will help ease the fear rather than waiting 2 or 3 days. Maybe your BF is honest you just never know

i have no idea. i have been with my b/f for 7months and he has been checked and been with only one other person besides me. i was diagnosed with genital herpes and dont  know when i would of been exposed to that. i am 18. started having sex when i was 16 some was protected some wasnt. im soo scared
