length of symptoms?

is it possible for symptoms to persist out to 20 weeks after exposure, i never had any symptoms until 14 weeks after exposure then ive noticed swollen lymph nodes, im waiting on test results but im going crazy, as im affraid for the worse.

i have one more question and then ill stop, do swollen lymph nodes if you did get them in ars, would they stay swollen past 20 weeks after exposure? my test results will be in tomorrow, i have never had any symptoms like fever or rash, and lately i have had lymph nodes swelling, please give me a clue without yelling at me, im going nuts. than you in advance.

Your symtoms aren't related to HIV. If you test now, you get conclusive result.
Always use condom unless you're in monogamus relations.

i forgot to mention the she said she has been clean of the iv drugs since september 08. not ars but could it be regular symptoms of hiv, u know what i mean

No. ARS symptoms (if you even had them) do not persist out to 20 weeks. Your test result will be conclusive.

i had unprotected vaginal with a woman the i found out was and iv drug user. she said after i talkted to her that she didnt have hiv and that she was tested in july of 08 and it was negative. my exposure was in mid february, tested friday should know something monday or tuesday i hope

What was your risk? When did you test? For us to help you, you need to help us by telling us what your risk was (if any) and when you tested.

Symptoms are meaningless and will not be used as a diagnostic tool for HIV infection.
