lingering symptoms

I had the following risks:

1.  6/15/10  unprotected oral, protected vaginal then took condom off and masturbated - potential for vaginal secretions on hands during masturbation
2.  7/9/10  different partner same risk as above without unprotected oral
3.  7/15/10  different partner only had protected vaginal

The only ARS symptom I had was a rash on 7/21/10 that lasted about 6 days.  The rash looked like mosquito bites, they itched and there were probably 15 total.  A few on my chest, a few on my waist at the beltline, a few on my arms and a few on my neck at the shirtline

On 7/28/10 girlfriend had fever with chest pain and severe muscle aches that lasted a week exactly.  Went to a dr. but never had rash or lymphnode swelling.

Had HIV 1/2 test and full STD panel on 9/7/10 that was negative for everything.  This was 12 weeks after the first exposure, 9 weeks after the second and 8 weeks after the last.

Starting in September I have had ear fullness which has been diagnosed as eustachian tube dysfunction.  I still have it to this day (9 months).  I'll have it for a few days than it goes away for a few days but it always comes back.  I've had nasal congestion since November (7 months) that also comes and goes.  Finally I've had intermittent diarrhea for 5 months as well basically I'm not making number 2 in any way like I used to before.

My girlfriend has had a small dry cough, like she's trying to clear her throat all the time for 4 months.

I would love to accept my negative test but these symptoms persisting is really messing with my mind.  Does anyone here think I should should retest given my risks, my test and my continuing symptoms?

I've seen that mentioned a number of times by both doctors.  I would assume that the 1 in a 100,000 accomodates for the occasional condom failure but I've never seen it explained.  My situation boils down to one of three potentialities of risk:

1.  First and foremost masturbating with Vaginal fluids on hands after protected vaginal sex would have to be a risk factor.

2.  A negative 9 week test would have to be a false negative

3.  A lab error

Of those three which is the more likely if any.

Never seen a Dr on this site say 1 in 100,000.

Please understand that if I was dealing with a flu or lymph node swelling that went away in a few weeks like most people on this forum I would totally be able to clear my head.  Its the chronic nature of this thing that I've never had any proclivity toward in the past that has me so concerned.

Not trying to be argumentative so please don't take this the wrong way.  But even the docs on this site have said that the rate of infection for condom protected sex is 1 in a 100,000.  Obviously that's rediculously low but still there is at least some risk.  Also, I have to believe that my risks are at least in theory more risky than just that.  I've also read plenty about how ETD when its asymptomatic, meaning I don't really have any infections or drainage, and chronic, I've had it for 9 months now, is a common finding in HIV patients.

Have either of you ever heard of ETD being prevalent in HIV patients?

You can believe it-you never had a risk and never required testing.Your symptoms are not related to hiv. Many different conditions and infections cause symptoms not specific for hiv.Any further testing you have for the situations you described are go to come back negative.

hiv is transmitted through...
UNPROTECTED vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

hiv is NOT transmitted through...oral sex or masturbation (yes, even with vaginal fluid on hand)

THATS why you never had a risk.

No risk?  none?  I'd love to believe that.  9 months of truly odd symptoms doesn't change your thoughts on my risk at all.  And the fact that I didn't get past the 3 month conclusive for these risk events.  I respect your opinion and I don't deserve your time but a little more explanation for why you think I don't need another test would be truly appreciated.
