You never had an HIV exposure.
Appreciate the quick reply Teak, thank-you. I had read that there may be a higher concentration of the virus in anal mucous and that was my major concern, there is always something it seems. Thanks again
Hi RainLover - thanks so much for your prompt reply, it's just when you get doing the reading you don't know what to think, it was the higher virus concentration in anal mucous that got me the most concerned. Thank-you again for your response.
Saliva contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission your concern should be parasite infection and other disease such as HBV from rimming.
Hi RainLover71 - looking over your reply once again how is it you can say with such certainty that the brief period of unprotected rimming was of no risk at all? Is it for the same reasoning that Teak wrote of? just wondering, it threw me for a loop getting this small bout of shingles within 3 weeks of this encounter. Thank-you for indulging me.
Shingles are not HIV specific, you didn't have an HIV exposure.
Appreciate your comments, thank-you Teak, I'm still on the learning curve, it just seemed odd to me to get the shingles when I did that was all, thanks again
The prerequisite for shingles is chickenpox's.
I had chicken pox as a kid as I guess most of us, thanks again for the information and for taking the time to respond.
