Still paranoid

hi guys I already posted before, i had unprotected sex from a  guy, 5 weeks ago, aftre one week, I had tonsilitism,m which had healed of anitibiotics, but until now, I still have feverish ffeling (but normal temp)( 98.2-98.6), but I have cough and itchy throat, i understand I need to get tested, bu Im wondering if its symptoms of  HIV nd I have tingling fingers and toe? are these sign of hiv. help me.

No need to have multiple threads, you already received plenty of info on your first thread, you know when to test.

Sad that sex had  become this way ... Test that is the only way you will know , be strong , be responsible and test , know your status ... 6 weeks is a good time to test   Good luck ...

No, those symptoms don't resemble symptoms of acute HIV infection. Symptoms are never reliable for diagnosing HIV infection anyway- testing is the only way to know.

Since you are nervous, you can have an antibody test at 6 weeks, which will give you a good indication of your status. If the test is negative then it is extremely unlikely that you have HIV. You should then have a confirmatory test at 3 months for a conclusive result.
