OHHHH ok teak much appreciated, i didn't know if you mean't it in a bad way like go to the doctors etc much appreciated will carry on with life and not mess around with needles thanks so much teak,
I said that because no matter what we say you are going to go on and on about it. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL SAY IT. YOU DID NOT HAVE A RISK.
LOL... no teak im not getting paniky, by you saying go to the doctor are you simply suggesting i get it checked out or are you just saying that either way vein or no vein im ok and don't need to test.. thats all
Take it to the HIV Anxiety Support Group. You can find the link at the bottom right hand side of the page.
erm oh, does that mean that something could have taken place then? no i had nothing to inject myself with just that stupid needle... not queit sure what to make of that should i be worried or is that a way for you to sau i'm ok
Go to the doctor and let him look at your hand. You still did not inject anything into your vein you had no way of injecting.
and the vein thing does not matter either ( sorry)
No you do not need an HIV test.
LOL... put it in the trash your dam right! we wrapped it up twice in a envelope and threw in the bin....
hep quest i will ask my doc, you know on the back of your hand where a vein is visable thats where it happened? still no risk? and the blood to blood contact does not matter at all! the rubber thing makes a difference ohh ok! ( don't know how) great if you could just tell me is HIV testing is needed and if the vein thing is ok as well will go about my daily duties today thanks teak, your time and advice is much appreciated
1. HIV is transmitted by infusing into a vein which he did not do. Syringes are not rubber things connected to a needle.
2. Hepatitis questions need to be asked in that forum.
3. Put it in the trash.
wow! you got me and my friend very worked up for a split second although i guess from your point of view it helps emailing one to one.
I hate to ask such stupid questions, but then again i have done most my life so here it goes.
1. How come! i have always been lead to believe that like in a syringe scenario the blood in the needle and syringe have got no air contact? i guess a poke cannot do anything but injecting would. Is this not the same? as i said the rubber was tightly attached to the "needle" all the way around so the blood would have got no air- then i stupidly poked hurt myself and bled with the other persons blood on the needle to. Im just a little baffled thats all. Or does this change when i managed to open the needle cover- thing- i don't know what its called "cap"
2. do i need a HIV test or hep testing?or anything else
3. Any blood that was left on my hand from the needle is ok is't it and will not do anything?
Phew a long list there i know your a busy man here doing what you do, therefore any valuble knowledagble info would be much appreciated.
Regards
Sunny
