question about HIV

Hello all, can HIV live in animals? Dogs, cat... fish?  The reason I ask fish is because I went fishing. I caught one. When I went to take the hook out he jumped around. The hook made a pretty good size hole in my hand. and ripped his lip. There was fish blood in my fresh open wound. Is this crazy? or possible risk???  if it can live in fish?

it's called "HUMAN" Immunodeficiency Virus...

HIV doesn't live in animals.

There are similar virus called SIV, lives only in Chimpanzees,
and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) that attacks pets, but it can't attack the human because we have different hosts...

We don't transmit to animals, and animals don't transmit to us...
