HIV spittle fear plz help

Today I visited a friend who is hiv positive. He accidently spat into my mouth while he was talking. I don't know if there was blood in his spittle or not. I had ulcers in my mouth at the time but probably were not bleeding as I then spat on the ground to check but there was no visible blood in my own spittle. I am so scared now and plz offer me some professional advices. Was I at risk for Hiv? Do I need test for this?

No there hasn't. When we mean needles. We mean only needles used to inject drugs with. Syringes/Intravenous needles. Not sewing needles..

Has there ever been a single case worldwide that someone got hiv because he/she was pricked by a sewing needle with blood on?

Thank u guys so much. One last question, by sharing needles, what u meant is only IV needle with a barrel or any kind of needles such like sewing needles?? I know I seem to hav OCD and I sometime worries about being pricked by people with sewing needle with infected blood on. I promise this will be my last question and thank u guys so much for your patience!!

That's exactly what I'm saying. No risk - No risk -No risk.
There you have it. I said it 3 times for you. But how long is it gonna make you feel OK ? An hour ? A day ?

Your the one who has to say no-risk. Not us. Try to do what I said.
Just remember this. If you don't have unprotected intercourse with anyone, and if you don't share needles, you will never have an HIV concern, no matter what spin you put on your encounters. The rest is just your imagination. And yes I read EVERYTHING you said, about, spit, blood, HIV+ etc. So have the others. If you'd had a risk you can be sure someone would have said something.
Take care.

It was a no risk event (again) And you already know this based on previous posts and previous answers. HIV can only be transmitted by UNPROTECTED vaginal sex, anal sex, or by sharing needles.

You really need professional counselling. I say this out of compassion and not criticism.

You don't have HIV. You have HIV phobia. No matter how many different no-risk scenarios you post here, your problem won't go away. You know the modes of transmission. The members have told you. The moderators have told you. You have to get professional help. I don't mean that in an offensive way. I was driving everybody nuts a few years ago until I finally got counseling and medication. ((by the way, you haven't made anyone angry - just telling you for your own sake)) and just sharing my own story.
