How many times were you told that you never had a risk of hiv infection. You need to accept reality and the facts. At no time were you ever at risk and your negative, conclusive test result is proof of this.
You had no HIV risk as have been advised, let alone have contracted one, so all the symptoms you're suffering now have nothing to do with HIV.
Please move on with your life and stop thinking that you have HIV and stop browsing for that.
Hi ...I am back again.....apologise for starting this again....test result HIV Elisa Negative at 12 weeks on Nov 30- 2010....However I was releived with my result for some time & showed myself to a psychatirist....i am still under medication for last 4 months & anxiety levels have really been controlled. i also showed myself to a Internam Medicine doctor who diagonozed me with low vitamin b12 at 150 (normal level 200 - 750). I use to have frequent sore thigh muscles (feeling of tightness) before i was put on vitamin b12 supplements...thay have reduced to quite an extent.......however still get that feeling occassionally..may once in a week....
I am again getting worried that if low vitamin b12 levels indicate contracting HIV .....sometimes i feel that i should get myself retested as I have crossed even 06 months time frame...but then again most of the folks on this site suggest that 3 months negative is conclusive....
Do you feel i should be re tested
Please someone ...please reply it for me........
Hi Teak & others
Please review my last post ...even after 12 week (85 day) ELISA sandwich test as negative i m not able to get out of anxiety......i am very scared to have sex with my wife as she is breastfeeding my son & i am afraid if she contracts from she may also pass it on to my son.....
last week she told me to accept my result as conclusive & pesuaded me for sex .....i tried unprotected vaginal for couple of seconds & then left it in between....since then i am getting more anxious thinking that i would have passed on the virus to her.....
Actually i am still getting muscle pain at my thighs & constant pain in my feet ...that is why i keep on thinking about hiv.....
Do i need more test ...please recommend something....some one told me i should go for pcr dna to rule out hiv conclusively.....
Please teak help me out of this situation

Please review my last post....appreciate your help so far
Hi
I know I have been warned for posting excessively on the forum ...but please have a look at this & reply .....i have tested at 12 week mark & wanted to take an opinion of the forum......
I finally got tested for HIV I & II at 11 week mark & 12 week mark. The test result are as follows
11 week mark : ElectroChemiluminiscence : Non Reactive
12 week mark(85 day) : ELISA : Negative : Test Value 0.040 & Cut Off value : 0.300 (This test was done at one of the reputed hospitals)
Can I consider myself as negative conclusively ....i am not too sure what is test value & cut off value.....does that mean that test value of 0.040 i have very less ab for the HIV....
I really want to get out of this & relive my life...
Your help till this time is much appreciated.
Regards
You did not have a risk and didn't need to take an HIV test.
Hi Teak
I got the result as negative ....test name was HIV I & II (ElectroChemluminiscence) - Result - Non Reactive.........can you please let me know which generation test is this & how effective it is........
I know six weeks cannot be conclusive ...but still if anyone can let me know how much likely it remains non rective at 8- 12 weeks..
Thanks Teak......I hope so it is so......will let you folks once i get the results in the evening...
Nothing more to add. You never had a risk from oral sex.
Teak....will be greatful if you can have a look on my case & advise .....please your words mean a lot on this forum...

hi Bhutu
my english is bad.sorry.
Why not to believe moderators?you had no risk for HIV.
"Thank you for the further information - but it does not alter my view that you are at low risk of acquiring HIV. "
"You very sensibly wore a condom for penetrative sex. "
"Herpes viruses do increase the risk of transfer of HIV - but via the genital route - not through oral sex as far as we are aware. "
Sean Doctor told you! i think you should relax the.. no problem.
hi Javert

Hi Kumar
You mean that there isnt a remote possibility if unprotected penis comes in contact with microscopic wounds on skin (in pubic region).......
If that be case...i m really feeling better...
please any one...i am really down with anxiety
I would also add i didnt see any blood after she shaved her pubic region.......but i am worried about the microscopic wounds which might have occoured after she shaved.....
Hi...my mind cant just stop thinking of sequence of events that happened that day...i just remembered that before i had put condom for vaginal sex she had shaved her pubic region ..applied some cream & took bath....after that i had some foreplay where my penis might have come in contact with her pubic region unprotected....though i didnt have vaginal sex then.....my worries are like what if she had some microscopic wounds or cuts in her pubic region & my penis came in contact with those....what are the chances of hiv being transmitted ........
