Another nurse that knows nothing about hiv, surprise, surprise. What she should have told you was that for transmission to have occured, you would have had to have unprotected penerative vaginal sex with the sex worker to have had a risk of infection, clearly you didn,t therefore your safe. Its all about being educated when dealing with hiv concerns.
to repeat myself...having sex with someone who has hiv does not mean automatic infection.
transmission CAN happen at any time...NEVER play odds with your health / your life.
if you had unprotected intercourse...you test !
if we did unprotected sex who have hiv + is 100% sure that we get hiv.....but someone says that first exposure cant get it is like 1 of 1000..........
can u plzz clear that .......
two things have to happen first:
she has to have hiv
and
you have to have unprotected intercourse
then...you have put yourself at risk and need testing. having unprotected sex with someone who is hiv positive doesnt mean automatic infection...but taking that chance is not worth contracting hiv.
ALWAYS use condoms until you are in a monogamous relationship ! !
means to say if penis go inside her then we get hiv....
nurse was wrong.
hiv is a fragile virus and needs, more or less, a "perfect" environment to transmit. this "perfect" environment is INSIDE the body.
hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child
