hello doctor.please answere my question.sorry for my bad english.  I had non protected  sex 3 years ago .then after 1 and 2 years and 3 years   i had 3 hiv  p24 tests.i mean each year  one p24 test and all  of the was negetive. is it reliable or I should have hiv elisa test?PLeeeeeease Dr  Answere

P24 is good after week 1 to the end of week 3 or 4 and it is not used to screen for HIV by itself.

Sorry .my last test was 3 days ago   and there wasnt wroten the kind of test.  test result was  :  HIV _ result Negetive   0.012
normal ranges : negetive: less than0.9 . borderline:0.9-1.1  possitivemore than 1.1
Do You Know which Kind of test it is?I mean Is it Nti Body Or Antigen

No the P24 test would not be conclusive. You need an antibody test.

If you tested antibody negative 3 months post your last unprotected vaginal or anal sex then your test was conclusive.
