timing and symptoms

hello everyone

i've extensively read the questions of other posters and i KNOW that testing is the only way to determine my status. today, at day 35 i took it, but it takes a while for the results to come back, meanwhile i have some questions.

this is the timing of my symptoms:

since week 1 and ongoing: sore throat
since week 2 and ongoing: nausea and vomiting
since week 3 and for 2 days: malaise
since week 4 and ongoing: swollen lymph nodes in neck (posibbly armpit according to a doctor), muscle and joints pain, discomfort under armpit (slight pain)

rash: unknown since i've had some acne on my back and chest that could mimic it
fever: NONE

My risk: detected broken condom after finishing an encounter with a sex worker

1. Any of these are indicators of ASR IF im infected?
2. ELISA test is reliable in what degree after only 35 days?
3. are there any important factors that could present a false positive in the elisa test?

Thank you everyone for your kind answers

Thank you for your answer Teak.
Well, today, at day 38 (that is 5 weeks and 3 days) i got a fever, its around 100.4. Can this be the dreaded symptom of ARS?

ELISA if positive is ran again. If another positive then they run a Western Blot. Depending on what test you took will determine if another blood draw is needed.

thanks for the answer

i have a follow up questions. I certainly have read about the reliability of ELISA test at 3 month; however, is there anjy data regarding the reliability after 5 weeks?

second question, the ELISA test is confirmewd through WB test, only or by subsequent ELISA test with the SAME SAMPLE, that is, for the confirmation is always necesarry a second sample?

Thank you again

1. NO
2. Conclusive is 3 months post exposure
3. Not a concern of yours. All positive test results are confirmed.
