worried due to rise in hiv cases

There was a sudden rise in hiv cases in my city.
I have hade encounters with sex workers up until lasy week.
I have had 1 insertive protected vaginal sex once, and have had receptive and insertive oral sex with some of them.

Do I need to get tested? What kind of test? My last oral sex encounter was last week, how long should I wait?

Hello,as others mentioned you have done protected vaginal sex,if condom was not broken there is no risk of HIV,but from unprotected oral sex you there is chance for other STD's and next to zero risk of HIV,better go for 4th gen hiv test at 28days for conclusive result, but I am sure that your result will be negative.

Pls avoid all types of unprotected sex with unknown person in future.

You used a condom for penetrative sex which is no risk. Per the experts that used to post in the doctors forum here, there is no risk from oral sex. You're not at risk and don't require a test.
