aortic insufficiency and osteogenesis imperfecta and exercise

Hello,  I am a 36 year old female with mild to moderate Aortic insufficiency and osteogensis imperfecta. I have been followed for 10 years with no changes in heart functions or leaking noted.  I am interested in learning if any types of exercises should be avoided.  I currently swim and was going to add sit ups but was concerned about doing isometric exercises !  Is this a valid concern ?

Thank you for your support ,

Lori

Isometric and heavy lifting exercise may be a problem for your condition; you should consult with your doctor.
