Thanks heaps Ed so my pulse has been around 108 for the past 3 days that's at rest do I think it's lack of beta blocker in my system?
There are three possibilities, the condition will worsen, it will stay the same, it will improve. It the latter, the amount of improvement is not predictable, there is a small chance of returning to normal. I think due to your EF increasing so well after giving birth, that improvement is your outcome. However, no professional will be able to say just how much improvement will occur, it's a waiting and monitoring game. Your beta blockers are not just to help with blood pressure and heart rate, they are a protector for your heart muscle, to help it to recover, so it's important to remember to take them.
Although the left ventricle is enlarged, you are certainly not at the stage of any form of heart failure which is a great sign. Taking your beta blockers regularly will probably allow further improvement.
With regards to getting answers from your specialists, you won't. There are sadly no answers. All they can do is explain how your heart is 'today'. They can only monitor you and react to any change in heart function.
I hope this helps.
