Hi all,
I'm 28, male, 250 lbs and 5'10 if that matters. I've been suffering from a multitude of problems. I went to the hospital in December for a suspected blood clot after I nearly passed out and had sever leg pain for a while. my BP was 190/110 but got the all clear and was discharged at 179/103. No meds were given to me. Since I've had major palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain and shoulder pain and muscle spasms.
I went to the cardiologist and had a holter monitor for 24 hours, an event monitor for a week, chest X-ray, blood tests, echocardiogram and a stress test. My doctor said it's all clear. I have very high cholesterol and my heart sped up a bit here and there on the event monitor but nothing "serious". So he said it's either anxiety (which I don't believe) or I should go to a pulminologist which I'm working on. However he didn't really explain anything to me. If my heart is going crazy, how is it not my heart?
Does that mean I'm clear for any heart disease or artery disease? I'm concerned about the high cholesterol and the fact that my BP is getting higher. It was 120/80 and now is 140/90.
I know that anxiety can cause all this, but I've never had an anxious bone in my body, my half brother also has GAD, so I've been around people who experience the sever symptoms but it's always in a situation, or during a time of stress while mine are always at rest, sitting, lying down, watching a movie. Doesn't matter it's always there.
Can anyone explain what "all clear" means to me? Like, If I got the all clear I can 100% say it's not my heart or arteries?
