What symptoms can be experienced when using Cardicor/Bisoprolol 2.5mg tablets? My mum's feeling dizzy and unwell - symptoms she didn't have before starting these tablets.

Hi,

Bisoprol is a type of beta-blocker so it's main actions are to reduce the workload of the heart and lower the blood pressure so some people can experience dizziness (especially when standing up) due to a temporary lack of blood to the brain. Another side effect is precipitating an asthma attack if your mother suffers from this problem. A very rare side effect is mild sedation.

Hope this helped.
